On those occasions when you have to write down some text and you do not have or do not want to use a laptop a smartphone comes really handy. If you have to insert a lot of text you may find the keypad a bit too small and awkward to use though. To solve this problem Eleksen created a 63 keys portable fabric keyboard.
This QWERTY product is laptop-sized and it is compatible with various operating systems (Palm, RIM Blackberry, Symbian and Windows Mobile) and consequently it can be used with a wide range of smartphones. On top of this the keyboard is also Bluetooth compatible and a green LED will inform you when a connection to a wireless device is established.
This device is powered by two AAA batteries and according to Eleksen the keyboard has an autonomy of almost ten hours of continuous typing. The manufacturer also added an on/off switch and the possibility to automatically power off the keyboard after a long inactivity.
The keyboard was designed using the ElekTex smart fabric technology so in addition to being more flexible (both when used and when carried around) it is also a lightweight compared to the normal rigid models. In fact this Bluetooth device only weighs 68 grams thanks to the absence of any mechanical component. It is also water resistant so you can easily wash it and you do not have to worry about the occasional spill.
The Bluetooth keyboard is already on sale at the price of 75 dollars apiece and its price is subject to discounts for multiple orders. Eleksen is also available to customize or brand the product to fit the customer needs. Lastly in the price is also included a sack that can be very helpful when carrying around the keyboard.
